An official Health Canada notice concerns Nova bus. Issue: on certain transit buses, the recall repairs completed during transport canada recall no. 2025-539 may not be effective. As a result, a second inspection and/or repair is required. This recall is for coolant pumps installed on certain transit buses or sold as a replacement part. On certain transit buses, the cooling pumps for the electrical and/or mechanical cooling packages could fail and cause a loss of power to the wheels. Note: this recall replaces transport canada recall no. 2025-539. Safety risk: a sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. A bus that is disabled could result in a transfer of passengers in an uncontrolled environment, which may create a risk of injury. Corrective actions: nova bus will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and, if necessary, replace the cooling pump(s). Published 2026-03-11.
