An official Health Canada notice concerns Nova bus. Issue: On a small number of buses, defective bolts were used to attach the radius rods to the drive axle. As a result, the bolts could fail and cause a radius rod to separate from the drive axle. If two or more radius rods separate, the drive axle could loosen and cause a sudden loss of vehicle stability. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of stability could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Nova Bus will notify owners by mail and provide you with directions for replacing the radius rod bolts. Published 2023-04-03.
