The recalled products do not meet the labelling requirements required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. The product was initially labelled as FLAMMABLE, but is actually classified as VERY FLAMMABLE and does not display the mandatory information required for this category. The lack of child-resistant packaging presents a risk of unintentional exposure, which could lead to serious illness or injury, including death. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Lanctot Sports to obtain a replacement label. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
