An official Health Canada notice concerns Nitto - Toyo. Certain tires may have been produced with an internal wrinkle in the upper sidewall area. Under certain circumstances, this wrinkle may eventually lead to a crack in the sidewall. If a crack develops and is left undetected, the tire may fail, potentially resulting in a vehicle crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace affected tires. Published 2011-02-14.
