An official Health Canada notice concerns Newmar. Issue: on certain motorhomes, the hood stops may not have been secured properly. As a result, the hood stops could detach and separate from the vehicle while driving. Safety risk: a hood stop that detaches from the vehicle could create a hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: newmar will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and install fasteners to secure the hood stop brackets. Published 2026-03-03.
