An official Health Canada notice concerns Navistar. Issue: Over time, the mounting brackets for the front grille surround (trim) could loosen or detach. If this happens, the grille surround could detach from the vehicle. Safety Risk: A grille surround that separates from the vehicle could create a hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Navistar will notify owners by mail and advise you to inspect the grille surround periodically, and repair it if necessary. Navistar will send you a second notice when the replacement parts are available, and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the grille surround assembly. Published 2023-03-24.
