An official Health Canada notice concerns Navistar. On certain vehicles equipped with an optional jump start stud, corrosion at the base of the stud may cause an electrical short between the stud and battery box resulting in a vehicle fire causing property damage, personal injury, or death. Correction: Dealers will install a new redesigned jump start stud. Published 2011-02-17.
