An official Health Canada notice concerns Navistar. On certain vehicles, the steering wheel may have been manufactured incorrectly and could fail. This could allow the steering wheel to separate from the steering wheel hub. Should this occur while the vehicle is underway, the driver would lose steering control, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the steering wheel assembly. Published 2012-11-16.
