An official Health Canada notice concerns Navistar. On certain vehicles, brake s-cam bracket assemblies on the steering axle could fracture, causing an inoperative brake on the affected wheel end. This could cause the vehicle to pull to one side while braking and/or increase stopping distances, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.
