An official Health Canada notice concerns Micro bird. Issue: On certain school buses, the rod end fitting that attaches the door panels to the door opening gear could fail. If this happens, the door panel(s) could become loose and open unexpectedly. Note: This recall only affects school buses equipped with power-assisted doors. Safety Risk: A door that opens unexpectedly could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Micro Bird will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your school bus to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, repair the rod end fitting. Published 2025-09-24.
