An official Health Canada notice concerns Mercedes-benz. Certain vehicles may fail to conform to Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 206 – Door Lock and Door Retention Components. The left (driver's side) door locks may indicate a locked position, even when the door is not locked, which is contrary to the requirements of the standard. Correction: Dealers will inspect the left door locks, and replace them as necessary. Published 2018-02-17.
