High riskHealth Canada

An official Health Canada notice concerns Mcneilus truck & manufacturing. On certain vehicles built with an Agility compressed natural gas (CNG) system, the stainless steel braid reinforcement of the flexible fuel hoses may be susceptible to premature corrosion due to a combination of accumulation of road salt and environment. If the corrosion progresses and remains undetected, the hose may leak. Should a CNG leak occur in the presence of an ignition source, a fire and/or explosion could result, increasing the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Agility Authorized Service Technicians will replace the defective hose assemblies. Published 2017-10-27.
