An official Health Canada notice concerns Mclaren. Issue: Under certain conditions, the joint between the engine coolant temperature sensor housing and coolant pipe could fail. If this happens, coolant could leak while driving. Safety Risk: A coolant leak could lead to a fire in the engine bay. Corrective Action: McLaren will notify owners by mail and advise you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to replace the engine coolant temperature sensor housing and hose.
