An official Health Canada notice concerns Manac. On certain trailers, the rivets which secure the external aluminium rub rails may shear. If a sufficient number of rivets were to fail, the rub rail could partially or fully separate from the vehicle, posing a risk to other motorists and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Aluminium rivets will be replaced with stainless steel ones. Published 2017-03-20.
