An official Health Canada notice concerns Lode king. Issue: On certain trailers, the check valve mounted on the air tank could break. If this happens, the service brakes will lose pressure and the emergency brakes will apply. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of service brakes or the self-application of the emergency brakes while driving could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Lode King will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to replace the check valve on the air tank. Published 2022-12-15.
