An official Health Canada notice concerns Lexus - Toyota. Issue: On certain vehicles, some of the wires within the engine wiring harness may have been routed incorrectly. Over time, the wiring could become damaged by movement and vibrations. If this happens, there could be a loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Lexus will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the engine wiring harness. Published 2024-08-14.
