An official Health Canada notice concerns Lexus - Toyota. Certain vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 208 - Occupant Protection in Frontal Impacts. An incorrect specification driver frontal airbag or passenger frontal airbag may have been installed during vehicle assembly. In the event of a crash (where frontal airbag deployment is warranted), could result in the airbag not deploying as designed, which would fail to meet the requirements of the standard, and increase the risk of injury in a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the airbag assembly with a correct specification airbag. Published 2017-09-06.

The hazard
