An official Health Canada notice concerns Land rover. On certain vehicles equipped with a front center console cooled cubby box, a defect may exist in the antilock braking system, which could cause a fault to be registered in the system upon vehicle shutdown. This would cause the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) warning light to be illuminated when the vehicle is restarted, and disable the DSC, traction control and hill descent control systems. The fault would also cause the air suspension to revert to its lowest setting, displaying a “Suspension Fault” warning on the instrument panel. These issues could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will update vehicle software. Published 2016-04-29.
