Critical riskHealth Canada

An official Health Canada notice concerns Keystone. Certain travel trailers may have been manufactured with incorrect tires rated for 848kgs (1870 lbs) instead of tires rated for 998kgs (2200 lbs). These units were incorrectly supplied ST215/75R14C tires, instead of ST215/75R14D tires, which could lead to tire overloading. This could result in premature tire failure and/or cause damage to the trailer, which could affecting vehicle handling, and could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the tires with correct ones rated for the unit’s gross axle weight rating (GAWR). Published 2017-07-26.
