An official Health Canada notice concerns Kalmar. On certain vehicles, the chassis power distribution center may not have been sealed properly. This could result in moisture ingress, which could lead to an electrical short and fire, increasing the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the chassis power distribution center with a design using sealed modules to eliminate exposure to moisture and improved abrasion resistance. Note: This recall supersedes recall 2016-345. Vehicles repaired under the previous recall will require re-inspection and repair. Published 2017-07-12.
