An official Health Canada notice concerns Infiniti - Nissan. On certain hybrid vehicles, a defect in engine control module programming could cause a gradual throttle increase without driver input, which could cause vehicle speed to increase. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will update vehicle software. Note: Applying the brake would allow the vehicle to be slowed or stopped. Published 2016-11-07.
