An official Health Canada notice concerns Ic Bus - Navistar. On certain buses, if the rear brake line is not oriented properly during brake maintenance, and the bus kneeling feature is activated, the brake line "P" clip may become pinched. As a result the rear brakes may not fully release. Operating the vehicle with the rear brakes partly engaged may generate enough heat to cause a fire, which could result in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will install a clip designed to prevent improper routing of the rear brake line. Published 2012-05-25.
