High riskHealth Canada

An official Health Canada notice concerns Hyundai. Issue: On certain vehicles, the rear parking assist sensors (mounted in the rear bumper) could short circuit. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall 2022-118. Vehicles that were already repaired under Hyundai recall R0212 don't require this repair. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to replace the rear parking assist sensor fuse and any defective sensors.
