An official Health Canada notice concerns Honda. Issue: on certain vehicles, if the tire repair kit nozzle is not properly attached to the tire valve, pressure could build up in the sealant bottle. As a result, excessive pressure could cause the bottle cap to detach. Safety risk: if the bottle cap detaches, it could increase the risk of injury. Corrective actions: honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the nozzle on the tire repair kit.
