An official Health Canada notice concerns Hino. On certain vehicles, a washer may have been installed in the incorrect location on the cab hinge bracket to frame mount. Due to a depression in the bolt seating surface, this may have caused insufficient threading of the bolt and the nut which could lead to insufficient torque applied to the fasteners. This insufficient torque application could result in the loosening of the forward cab hinge bracket and may cause property damage or personal injury. Correction: Cab hinge bolts will be replaced and the washer installed in the correct location. Published 2011-07-15.
