An official Health Canada notice concerns Harley-davidson. Issue: on certain motorcycles, the rear brake line could become damaged by contact with the body control module (bcm). Over time, this could lead to a brake fluid leak and cause reduced braking. Safety risk: reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: harley-davidson will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the bcm bracket. The dealer will also inspect and, if necessary, replace the rear brake line. Published 2026-04-20.
