An official Health Canada notice concerns Great dane. Issue: On certain refrigerated trailers, the support gear bracing mounts may not have been properly welded. As a result, it could lead to the trailer collapsing when parked. Safety Risk: A trailer that collapses suddenly could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Great Dane advises to inspect the support gear bracing mount welds for cracks. If cracks are found, you should not use the trailer without a tractor attached or without safety stands in place until the recall repairs are completed. Great Dane will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, repair the support gear bracing mount welds. Published 2024-12-05.
