An official Health Canada notice concerns Grand design rv. Issue: on certain rv trailers, the u-bolts that attach the axles to the suspension may not have been properly tightened. As a result, an axle could slide back on the leaf spring. This could cause poor handling and lead to a loss of control. Note: this recall replaces transport canada recall nos. 2023-395 and 2024-164. Rv trailers that were repaired under those recalls also require this repair. Safety risk: a loss of control could create the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: grand design rv will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. Published 2026-01-29.
