High riskHealth Canada

An official Health Canada notice concerns Goshen. On certain buses equipped with a Ricon platform wheelchair lift, the handheld pendant control wiring protective cover could contact the hydraulic pump power lug. As the protective cover is conductive, this would result in a high current short-circuit and cause a fire, possibly resulting in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Owners will be provided with a supplemental cover kit and a non-conductive cover for the control wiring. Published 2013-01-11.
