An official Health Canada notice concerns Girardin - Micro bird. On certain vehicles, some Freedman double foldaway passenger's seats seat belts fail to comply with the strength requirement of the Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. In the event of a crash, the seat and seatbelt assembly may not restrain the occupant as intended and could result in personal injury or death. Correction: A steel plate will be added under the floor over the actual reinforcement seat support at the attachment point of the seat. Published 2011-04-19.
