An official Health Canada notice concerns Genie industries. On certain Genie TZ-34 and TZ-50 trailer mounted, articulating boom supported, aerial work platforms, the motor controller could malfunction and fail. Additionally, certain TMZ-34/19 and TMZ-50 may have receive the affected motor controller as a replacement part during service, and are therefore also involved in this campaign. Motor controller failure could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the motor controller with an updated version. Published 2012-01-25.
