An official Health Canada notice concerns Excel - Peterson industries. On certain fifth wheel trailers equipped with a Suburban propane gas stove with sealed burners, the aluminum gas line between the oven control valve and the gas orifice (which supplies gas to the burners) may contain a defect that can cause the tube to break, which would result in a gas leak near the oven pilot light. A propane gas leak, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire or an explosion, which could cause property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the subject gas line. Published 2011-07-11.
