An official Health Canada notice concerns Evenflo - Goodbaby. When dynamically tested, certain child seats exhibited a crack in the area adjacent to the central front harness adjuster and consequently did not meet the structural integrity requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 213. In the event of a crash, a crack may form at the front of the seat adjacent to the harness adjuster and such a crack may cause a child not to be properly restrained. Correction: Evenflo will provide a reinforcement plate and installation instructions. Published 2011-03-08.
