An official Health Canada notice concerns Entegra coach. Certain motorhomes equipped with a Spartan chassis may experience an unintended increase in vehicle speed after the cruise control is set. Then, if the brake is applied and released, cruise control function may resume and the vehicle speed may continue to increase. An unexpected moderate increase in vehicle speed may go unnoticed by the driver and, depending on traffic and road conditions, and the driver's reactions, could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Owners are advised to contact Spartan Motor Chassis, Inc. At 800-393-8861, to locate an authorized repair facility. The remedy consists of replacing the cruise control switch and reprogramming the control module. Published 2012-05-17.
