An official Health Canada notice concerns Elixir -40 c windshield washer fluid recalled. The recalled products do not meet the labelling and child-resistant packaging requirements required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. The lack of child-resistant packaging presents a risk of unintentional exposure, which could lead to serious illness or injury, including death.
