An official Health Canada notice concerns East To West - Forest river. Issue: The cargo carrying capacity labels on certain travel trailers list the wrong unloaded vehicle weight (UVW) and cargo carrying capacity. The labels incorrectly list the UVW as less than the actual weight of the trailer. This could lead to overloading of the trailer and cause poor handling or a tire failure. Safety Risk: Overloading of the trailer could cause a loss of control and result in a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will mail corrected labels to each owner. If you would like help to install the labels, you can contact a Forest River dealer to have them installed free of charge. Published 2023-05-04.
