An official Health Canada notice concerns East To West - Forest river. Issue: On certain RV trailers, the drawbar assembly isn't strong enough for the weight of the trailer. This could cause the drawbar to fail while driving. If this happens, the trailer could separate from the tow vehicle. Safety Risk: A trailer that separates from the tow vehicle could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: None of the affected trailers have been sold to customers. Forest River will instruct dealers to replace the drawbar assembly before the trailers are sold. Published 2023-05-05.
