An official Health Canada notice concerns E-one - Emergency one. On certain fire trucks, the door latch fasteners may not have received adequate tightening torque during the manufacturing process. As a result, the outer door handle may rotate out of position, allowing a retention spring to dislocate, which could cause the door to open during a vehicle crash. Should this occur, unbelted occupants could fall out of the vehicle and sustain personal injury. Correction: E-One service centers will replace the door latch assemblies. Published 2011-11-15.
