An official Health Canada notice concerns Dupray neat steam cleaner recalled. When the steam cleaner’s boiler is overfilled, extensively corroded, and the pressure release valve (boiler cap) also malfunctions, the boiler can rupture, posing a risk of serious injury or burn to the user or bystanders. As of January 20, 2026, the company has received 15 reports of boiler ruptures, including four reports of minor burns, bruises, lacerations, and a broken wrist, and at least seven reports of minor property damage. Three of these reports originated in Canada and 12 originated in the United States. Published 2026-02-26.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Dupray for a free replacement boiler cap. For more information, consumers can contact Dupray customer service at 1-800-881-8482 between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm EST, Monday to Friday, by email at recall@dupray.com or visit Dupray’s website at https://dupray.com/en-ca/pages/recall Telephone service will be available in English and French. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Dupray Industries Inc. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
