An official Health Canada notice concerns Dodge - Fiat chrysler automobiles. On certain vehicles, an improper crimp of a diode in the windshield washer pump may cause the windshield wiper circuit located in the body control module (BCM) to fail. If this occurs, the windshield wipers would become inoperative, which could limit the driver’s visibility under certain conditions which may increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace the defective windshield wiper pump. Published 2020-08-06.
