An official Health Canada notice concerns Dodge - Fiat chrysler automobiles. On certain vehicles equipped with the Hellcat engine, the engine oil cooler line could separate at the crimp of the hose to the aluminum tube. This could lead to a rapid loss of engine oil which could spray on the windshield impairing visibility, cause engine seizure and/or, in the presence of an ignition source, increase the risk of fire. These conditions could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the engine oil cooler lines. Published 2017-10-06.
