An official Health Canada notice concerns Cybex - Goodbaby. Issue: On certain infant car seats, if the harness adjuster strap becomes frayed or worn, it may not meet the strength requirements of Canadian regulations. Note: This recall only affects Aton 2 infant car seats that were manufactured between March 8, 2019, and November 1, 2020. Safety Risk: Frayed or worn adjuster webbing could fail in a crash and increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Cybex will mail a notice to all registered owners and provide you with a replacement central adjuster strap assembly, and instructions for installing it. You should contact Cybex immediately if you notice that the central front adjuster strap is frayed. If you have not registered your car seat, or if you have moved, contact Cybex.
