An official Health Canada notice concerns Coachmen - Forest river. Issue: On certain motorhomes, the furnace may turn on and off too often (short cycle). As a result, the furnace burn chamber could overheat and crack. If this happens, carbon monoxide could build-up inside the motorhome when the furnace is used. Safety Risk: A build-up of carbon monoxide inside the trailer could result in carbon monoxide poisoning. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. To reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises not to use the furnace until the recall repairs are completed. Published 2024-01-31.
