An official Health Canada notice concerns Chevrolet - General motors. On certain Chevrolet Impala police vehicles, the front control arms may fracture. If this occurs, some tire "squeal" or "chirping" may be heard when turning at low speeds. Sudden changes could occur in vehicle handling and, particularly at higher speeds, the driver may not be able to control the vehicle and a crash could occur, which may result in personal injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace both control arms. Published 2012-08-16.

The hazard
