An official Health Canada notice concerns Chevrolet - General motors. On certain vehicles, an internal fault in the Sensing and Diagnostic Module may set a diagnostic trouble code, illuminating the airbag warning lamp and disabling the airbags and seatbelt pretensioners for the duration of the drive cycle. This could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Correction: Not applicable. NOTE: Further analysis has shown that no defect existed in the Sensing and Diagnostic Module, and that this recall is therefore inactive. Published 2014-09-18.
