An official Health Canada notice concerns Chevrolet - General motors. On certain vehicles, a defect in the driver frontal airbag could allow the airbag to separate from its backing plate upon deployment, increasing the risk of injury to the seat occupant in a crash where airbag deployment is warranted. Correction: Dealers will replace the airbag. Published 2014-09-26.
