An official Health Canada notice concerns Cfmoto - Canadian motor import inc.. Issue: _x000D_ On certain motorcycles, the throttle wire could become damaged by the handlebar. As a result, the wire could break and cause the engine to stall while riding. _x000D_ Note: This recall affects both IBEX 800 Sport and IBEX 800 Touring models. _x000D_ _x000D_ Safety Risk: _x000D_ A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. _x000D_ _x000D_ Corrective Actions: _x000D_ To reduce the safety risk, CFMOTO advises you not to ride your motorcycle until the recall repairs have been completed. CFMOTO will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to reroute the throttle wire. Published 2024-08-01.
