An official Health Canada notice concerns Buick - General motors. Certain vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 110 - Tire Selection and Rims. The combined weight of occupants and cargo, as displayed on the Tire and Loading Information label, does not meet the requirements of the Standard. As such, the vehicle could be unwittingly overloaded, which would result in poor vehicle handling characteristics, increasing the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will install an updated Tire and Loading Information label with the correct maximum combined weight of 432 kg (952 lbs). Published 2017-01-16.
