An official Health Canada notice concerns Britax. On certain infant car seats, cracks could form around the carry handle grip. If the cracks lead to the handle breaking, the seat could be dropped, causing potential injury to the infant. Correction: Registered owners will be sent a repair kit. Owners who have not registered their car seat should contact Britax at 1-800-683-2045 or at Britax.Recall@britax.com to obtain a remedy kit. In the interim, owners may continue to use the infant car seat, but the seat should not be lifted or carried by the carry handle until the remedy kit has been installed.
