An official Health Canada notice concerns Bmw. Issue: on a small number of vehicles, a problem with the rear lamps could cause the taillamps, stop lamps and/or rear turn signals not to work. Note: this problem would cause a warning message to display. Safety risk: stop lamps, and/or turn signals that don't work could cause a person not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn or change lanes. Taillamps that don't work could make the vehicle less visible to others. These issues could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: bmw will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the affected rear lamps. Published 2026-02-18.
